We are currently looking for a Lab Services Specialist to join a leading life sciences company based in the Cambridge area. As the Vendor Chaperone, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless operations across three buildings, acting as a crucial liaison between scientists, service providers, and LET engineers.

We are currently looking for a Lab Services Specialist to join a leading life sciences company based in the Cambridge area. As the Vendor Chaperone, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless operations across three buildings, acting as a crucial liaison between scientists, service providers, and LET engineers.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
Your duties as the Lab Services Specialist will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
- Collection of vendors and delivery to final locations, ensuring completion of work order activities within the department with excellent service and compliance.
- Assist the LET Team with tasks such as freezer transfers, speed vacs, and HPLC waste management.
- Accountable for equipment stock and inventory management using a Kanban approach.
- Participate in laboratory inspections and take responsibility for the delivery of follow-on actions.
Role Requirements
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Vendor Chaperone, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
- Relevant degree in a related field.
- Proven industry experience in a GMP environment.
- A working knowledge and practical experience with laboratory equipment and inventory management.
