We are currently seeking an experienced and commercially driven Business Development Director to join a leading biopharmaceutical company specializing in advanced insulin formulations and drug delivery technologies. This pivotal role focuses on identifying, developing, and securing commercial opportunities that drive growth across the company's diabetes-focused portfolio.
Your duties as the Business Development Director will be varied:
- Identify and develop new licensing, co-development, and commercialization opportunities for diabetes-related assets, with a focus on ultra-rapid and stabilized insulin formulations.
- Lead end-to-end deal processes including strategy development, partner outreach, due diligence, contract negotiation, and alliance management.
- Collaborate with R&D and senior leadership to align business development activities with the company's pipeline strategy.
Market Intelligence & Opportunity Assessment:
- Monitor trends in insulin therapy, drug delivery innovations, biosimilar insulin landscapes, and digital/connected care solutions.
- Evaluate external assets, technologies, or partnerships that could enhance the company's product offering or market positioning.
Cultivate high-level relationships with pharmaceutical companies, device manufacturers, distributors, and diabetes care providers globally. Represent the company at industry conferences, scientific symposia, and partnering events.
