We are currently looking for a Quality Assurance Officer to join a biopharmaceutical company based in Hertfordshire. As the Quality Assurance Officer, you will be reporting into the QA Operations Shift Lead and will act as the primary QA contact on shift, working closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Technical teams to ensure ongoing compliance with GMP requirements and site quality systems, offering you key exposure to day to day manufacturing activities.

Your duties as the Quality Assurance Officer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

  • Work effectively within a 24-hour shift pattern, including days and nights, to support continuous operations.
  • Act as the primary Quality Assurance contact across the site during the shift.
  • Manage quality incidents and deviations using TrackWise, including DRs, QIs, and CAPAs.
  • Review and approve documentation, ensuring completeness and compliance.
  • Perform QA Walk rounds, audits, and inspections across manufacturing and support areas to resolve quality issues that may come up during the production shift.

To be successful in your application to this fantastic role as the Quality Assurance Officer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

  • Relevant degree in a scientific discipline (or equivalent practical QA experience).
  • Experience working in a regulated quality environment.
  • A working knowledge and practical experience with Quality Management Systems, GMP, and GxP requirements.
