In this Scientist role, you join a leading CRO's Protein Science, Biophysics, and Structural Biology team to support biophysics-driven drug discovery projects. You will work on client projects, generate high-quality data, and help drive scientific decisions. The role involves hands-on technique work, collaboration with external partners, and mentoring junior scientists. Responsibilities
- Support Biophysics and Protein Science projects to deliver high-quality data
- Contribute to small-to-medium client projects, managing timelines and budgets
- Apply hands-on techniques including SPR, GCI, ITC, DLS, DSF, SEC-MALS, and protein production
- Present data clearly to internal and external stakeholders and support scientific decision-making
- Mentor and support junior scientists to develop scientific capability within the team
Key requirements
- Degree or higher in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Structural Biology)
- Proven hands-on Biophysical techniques and Protein Production experience in a drug discovery setting
- Experience leading scientific projects and collaborating effectively with external clients or partners
