Business Development Associate
Location: London, England. Salary: £30,000-£32,000. Full-time. Entry level.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Business Development Associate to support the Business Development Manager and the wider commercial team in building a strong pipeline of opportunities for our client. This role focuses on lead generation, research, prospect engagement, and sales support, with the goal of developing into a client‑facing business development professional over time.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct desk research to identify new potential clients in target markets (UK, EU, North America).
- Maintain Salesforce with accurate and up-to-date prospect, lead, and opportunity data.
- Coordinate distribution of targeted marketing materials and collateral to prospects.
- Join initial discovery calls where appropriate to take notes and ensure follow‑up actions are tracked.
Required Skills and Experience
- Relevant degree in a science, business, or related discipline (preferred but not essential).
- Proven industry experience in sales, lead generation, or a commercial support role.
- Working knowledge and practical experience with CRM systems (ideally Salesforce).
