ROLE OVERVIEW
We are currently looking for a Director, Drug Safety and Risk Management to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in South East, England. As the Director, Drug Safety and Risk Management, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and efficacy of our client\’s innovator products.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Director, Drug Safety and Risk Management will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Developing and implementing the overall drug safety strategy for the product, aligning it with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
2. Establishing and maintaining ongoing monitoring of drug safety, including signal detection, evaluation, and risk assessment.
3. Ensuring adherence to global pharmacovigilance regulations, guidelines, and reporting requirements.
4. Developing and implementing risk management plans, including strategies for mitigating potential safety risks.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Director, Drug Safety and Risk Management we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in a medical field (MD).
2. Extensive experience in pharmacovigilance and drug safety for innovator products.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with global pharmacovigilance regulations and guidelines (e.g., ICH, EMA, FDA).
