We are currently looking for a Business Analyst to join a leading scientific and research-focused organization on a 6-month contract starting in July 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst with a passion for process improvement, digital transformation, and scientific workflows to contribute to innovative R&I projects.
In this role, you will work closely with research teams and technical specialists to map, analyze, and optimize complex laboratory and data workflows, driving efficiency and modernization within the organization’s R&I disciplines.
Key Duties And Responsibilities- Elicit, document, and standardize current-state workflows across multiple research disciplines, creating visual process models such as swimlane diagrams and BPMN.
- Identify workflow inefficiencies, manual steps, and data bottlenecks through gap analyses, recommending future-state digital solutions and process improvements.
- Translate scientific and technical needs into clear business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications, maintaining a prioritized product backlog in Jira.
- Support the creation of process maps, gap reports, digital system designs, and testing documentation to ensure effective project delivery.
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Business Analyst we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
- A Degree or higher level in a relevant scientific or technical field (e.g., Life Sciences, Bioinformatics, Data Management).
- Proven experience in process mapping, workflows, and digital transformation within scientific or R&D environments.
- Strong knowledge of requirements engineering, backlog management, and Agile methodologies, with experience working with tools like Jira.
