We are currently looking for a Technical Leader to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in the Northern Ireland area. As the Technical Leader, you will be responsible for performing development and phase-appropriate validation of analytical methods in support of API manufacturing projects for small molecules and/or peptides.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Technical Leader will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Support Method development of APIs from scratch.

2. Actively participate in customer visits, audits, and provide technical input for quotations and change orders.

3. Ensure team members work effectively towards targets and assist in running laboratories according to company policies.

4. Provide technical management of complex projects, plan project work, and ensure scientific work meets required standards.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Technical Leader we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant degree in a scientific discipline.

2. Proven industry experience in analytical method development and validation.

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with HPLC/UHPLC/GC, KF, IC, and forced degradation studies.
