We are currently looking for an Analytical Team Leader – Raw Materials to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in the Leicestershire area. As the Analytical Team Leader – Raw Materials, you will be responsible for providing technical and operational leadership, training, and coaching to the team. This role offers the chance to make a significant impact on the company's success while advancing your career in a dynamic environment.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Analytical Team Leader – Raw Materials will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Provide technical and operational leadership, training, and coaching to Technical Leaders, Senior Analysts, Analysts, Technicians, and data checkers. Actively managing the performance of direct reports.
2. Take full ownership of the raw material testing team activities required as part of their assigned projects, identifying technical problems/issues, developing solutions, and fully implementing these solutions.
3. Define the analytical strategy for new and ongoing projects, support Technical Leaders and Senior Analysts with strategy setting, and review/approve the approaches they propose.
4. Manage internal team resources/schedules ensuring adequate planning and resource allocation for assigned development projects.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Analytical Team Leader – Raw Materials, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in Chemistry or related Life Science / STEM subject.
2. Proven industry experience in leading analytical activities for pharmaceutical raw materials in a cGMP environment.
3. Our client would also consider applicants with management experience working within the Pharmaceutical industry, who don't necessarily have a background in analytical or raw materials.
