ROLE OVERVIEW
Are you an experienced Employee Relations Advisor looking to make a significant impact within a dynamic HR team? An exciting interim role has arisen for an ER Advisor to join a leading organisation based in the Hertfordshire area. This role offers the chance to work closely with managers and employees, providing pragmatic and risk-based advice to ensure fair and consistent management of employee relations matters.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and manage a broad range of employee relations cases, including disciplinary matters, grievances, performance management, and absence management.
- Conduct investigations, hearings, and appeals, coaching managers on best practices and preparing all associated paperwork.
- Ensure employee relations matters are managed consistently and fairly, in line with employment legislation and internal policies.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with business managers, employee representatives, and trade unions where applicable.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
- CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience.
- Extensive experience handling employee relations cases independently.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and ACAS Codes of Practice.
