We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Shift Operative to join a prominent company within Hertfordshire. As the Warehouse Shift Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse, providing exceptional service to all stakeholders, suppliers, and various departments.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receiving, identifying, and inspecting incoming goods, and completing associated documentation, including quality control requests.
- Placing incoming stock items into their storage locations and recording the location on the SAP Inventory Control system.
- Picking and assembling orders for user departments and sections, ensuring compliance with Good Distribution Practice (cGDP) and Cold Chain Distribution (CCD) guidelines.
- Operating counterbalance forklift trucks and other mechanical handling equipment safely and efficiently, while maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the warehouse facility.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
- Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in a related field.
- Proven industry experience in warehouse operations or supply chain management.
- A working knowledge and practical experience with SAP Inventory Control system and mechanical handling equipment.
- Counterbalance OR Reach Licence.
