ROLE OVERVIEW
Are you a driven scientist with a passion for Biophysics and Protein Science? A leading company in the scientific industry is seeking a Senior Scientist / Associate Principal Scientist to join their dynamic team in Edinburgh. Key duties and responsibilities:
- Deliver Biophysics and Protein Science projects, generating high-quality data and insights.
- Lead small-to-medium client projects, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external clients to support project goals.
- Occasionally travel, including visits to the Chapel-en-le-Frith site.
Skills and experience:
- Relevant degree in a related field (PhD preferred or equivalent experience).
- Proven industry experience in Biophysical techniques and Protein Production.
- A working knowledge and practical experience with leading scientific projects and making recommendations for capability development.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present data and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience mentoring, training, or supporting junior scientists is desirable.
