Role Overview
Are you a Refrigeration Engineer looking for a career change? We have a fantastic opportunity for a site-based Refrigeration Engineer to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the Wiltshire area. You will work Monday to Friday with no shift work required.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- You will perform scheduled Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on utility refrigeration equipment, diagnose faults, and undertake equipment repairs on the facility refrigeration systems.
- Record equipment history on engineering computer systems and complete quality system documentation as required.
- Ensure procedures, Health and Safety requirements, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) are followed at all times to maintain compliance. Assist in managing contractors according to strict health and safety policies and site procedures.
- Carry out process improvements independently or as part of a team, supporting efforts to improve equipment reliability.
Role Requirements
To be successful in your application for the Refrigeration Engineer position, we are looking for the following qualifications and experience:
- Qualified with a Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Servicing and Maintaining Refrigeration Systems or equivalent (Essential). F-GAS 2079 CAT 1 certification is required.
- Proven experience within the Refrigeration service sector or as a Refrigeration Engineer within a Facilities maintenance environment.
- Experience in the Pharmaceutical industry is preferred; however, candidates from industries such as Food are also welcome.
