ROLE OVERVIEW
Our client is currently seeking a Technologist 1-QC Raw Materials to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in the Berkshire area. As the Technologist 1-QC Raw Materials, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance within a GMP custom manufacturing environment.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Technologist 1-QC Raw Materials will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Disposition raw materials for their intended use and assist in maintaining quality records such as deviations, CAPAs, investigations, change controls, protocols, reports, and SOPs.
2. Conduct testing of samples and report all results according to relevant procedures, critically assessing results and reporting any concerns to QC management promptly.
3. Approve results generated by other team members and ensure all safety requirements relevant to tasks are met.
4. Train and assist more junior members of staff, ensuring high standards of quality are maintained throughout the department.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Technologist 1-QC Raw Materials we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in Chemistry or a related field.
2. Proven industry experience in a GMP environment within the pharmaceutical industry.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with chemical/biochemical techniques and methods, as well as reporting of data and maintaining quality records.
