An exciting opportunity for a Senior Formulation Scientist to join a leading organisation within biotechnology and vaccine development. Our client is seeking a dedicated scientist to contribute to high-quality formulation and manufacturing experiments in a dynamic laboratory environment. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Your duties as the Senior Formulation Scientist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
- Execute formulation development and manufacturing activities in the laboratory for assigned projects.
- Working with formulation techniques such as freeze-drying, spray drying, and powder blending.
- Lead, plan and execute laboratory-based experimentation on vaccine formulation development projects.
- Develop and optimize stable vaccine formulations for internal and external projects.
- Contribute to scalable, practical manufacturing processes for vaccines.
- As the Senior Research Scientist/Scientist, you will mentor junior colleagues and support project reporting.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Senior Formulation Scientist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
- A Degree or higher level in biological sciences (e.g., Biological Sciences, Biotechnology, Immunology).
- Proven experience in formulation development projects for biologic materials, ideally vaccines.
- Experience in formulation techniques such as freeze-drying, spray drying, and powder blending, and knowledge of DoE approaches for formulation design.
