An exciting role has arisen for a Microbiologist to join a leading company in the pharmaceutical industry based in the Essex area. As the Microbiologist, you will be responsible for managing the microbiological laboratory, ensuring that all testing is performed in a timely and accurate manner.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the QC Manager in developing and implementing robust working practices within the laboratory environment.
- Organise routine activities of the micro lab to meet operational requirements.
- Perform laboratory tests to produce reliable and precise data/results.
- Provide quality metrics information and reports relating to the microbiological laboratory.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
- Relevant degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Pharmacy.
- Proven industry experience in microbiology testing within a pharmaceutical company.
- A working knowledge and practical experience with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and data integrity requirements.
