This contract position is available for a defined period from 29th June to 23rd August, with potential for extension for those demonstrating exceptional performance. The role involves working 12-hour day shifts, including weekends, supporting vital shutdown operations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the mechanical team during day shifts, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
- Implement and enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures to ensure the safety of all personnel and compliance with regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of mechanical systems to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Provide training and guidance to team members, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Ensure all activities adhere to safety standards and contribute to smooth shutdown processes.
