We are recruiting a Maintenance Engineer to join a leading Pharmaceutical company in the Hertfordshire area. As the Maintenance Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and continual development of equipment within the Engineering Department, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Undertake maintenance, calibration, repair, and continual development of production and utility equipment, ensuring compliance with all relevant guidelines and practices.
  • Provide technical support and effective problem-solving to the manufacturing team, ensuring minimal disruption to production activities.
  • Maintain and utilise regulatory and non-regulatory documentation, ensuring all activities are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes and procedures through innovation, teamwork, and adherence to safe working practices.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Relevant degree in an engineering discipline or a formal qualification in at least one other engineering discipline.
  • Proven industry experience in performing engineering and maintenance activities to a high standard on pharmaceutical utilities and associated equipment.
  • A working knowledge and practical experience with GMP standards, Computerised Maintenance Management Systems, and the ability to work under pressure in complex conditions.
