We are currently looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in the Hertfordshire area. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to become a key part of the Engineering Department, supporting the maintenance, calibration, and continual improvement of manufacturing and utility equipment. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Undertake maintenance, calibration, repair, and continual development of production and utility equipment, ensuring compliance with all relevant guidelines and practices.
- Provide technical support and effective problem-solving to the manufacturing team, ensuring minimal disruption to production activities.
- Maintain and utilise regulatory and non-regulatory documentation, ensuring all activities are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes and procedures through innovation, teamwork, and adherence to safe working practices.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- A Degree or higher level in an engineering discipline or a formal qualification in at least one other engineering discipline.
- Proven industry experience in performing engineering and maintenance activities to a high standard on pharmaceutical utilities and associated equipment.
- A working knowledge and practical experience with GMP standards, Computerised Maintenance Management Systems, and the ability to work under pressure in complex conditions.
