We are currently looking for an Engineering Manager to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in the East Sussex area. As the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and compliance of all premises, equipment, and systems.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Support the Head of Engineering to ensure all premises, equipment, and systems comply with current Health & Safety regulations, maintaining documentary evidence as needed.
- Collaborate with production departments to achieve shared goals for output, productivity, and machine efficiency.
- Lead and support maintenance engineers in analysing equipment failures and implementing effective CAPAs.
- Report weekly KPIs and communicate goal achievement to motivate staff within a continuous improvement culture.
Role Requirements
- Relevant Engineering qualification or related field; Green Belt in Continuous Improvement would be a benefit.
- Proven industry experience in a pharmaceutical or similar environment.
- A working knowledge and practical experience with current GMP and HSE requirements.
