We are currently looking for a Learning and Development Lead to join a leading Pharmaceutical organisation based in the South West of the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive professional to deliver impactful learning solutions that enhance workforce capabilities and support leadership development across our client’s hub or site.
The role offers a strategic and hands-on approach, working closely with HR and operational leaders to identify skills gaps, design tailored training programmes, and support talent growth through innovative learning initiatives.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement a comprehensive learning strategy aligned with organisational goals and workforce development needs.
- Assess training requirements through data analysis, stakeholder consultation, and capability frameworks.
- Design, deliver, and facilitate leadership and soft skills training programmes for employees at all levels.
- Partner with external providers to ensure the delivery of high-quality training content, including compliance and technical programmes.
- Oversee LMS administration, track training metrics, and drive continuous improvement in learning offerings.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- A relevant degree, or higher level, in HR, Education, Organisational Development, Psychology, etc.
- Proven industry experience designing and facilitating adult learning programmes using digital tools and LMS platforms.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across functions, with preference given to those who have worked in the Pharmaceutical industry.
