ROLE OVERVIEW

We are currently looking for a GCMS Scientist / Technician to join a leading organisation based in the Dagenham, Essex area.

This exciting opportunity involves a short-term contract where you will work two days per week on-site, offering flexibility and a chance to stay engaged with technical laboratory work.

  • KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Operate and run GCMS instrumentation to support analytical procedures and research objectives.
  • Carry out routine preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and assist with resolving technical challenges that arise.
  • Support the team with running samples and carrying out associated laboratory activities.
  • As the GCMS Scientist / Technician, you will contribute to maintaining laboratory standards and ensure data quality.
  • ROLE REQUIREMENTS
  • A Degree or higher level in a scientific discipline (e. g., Chemistry, Analytical Science, or related fields).
  • Proven industry experience in operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting GCMS equipment.
  • A practical knowledge and hands-on experience with GCMS instrumentation.
