KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Your duties as Computational Chemist will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows: 1. Contribute to the development and application of the internal simulation platform, with a particular focus on free energy and related molecular simulation approaches. 2. Develop and apply advanced molecular simulation and free energy methods to guide compound design. 3. Collaborate closely with medicinal chemistry and structural biology teams to integrate computational approaches. 4. Validate novel methods against high-quality experimental datasets. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: To be successful in your application to this exciting role as Computational Chemist, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history: 1. PhD in Computational Chemistry or a related field. 2. Proven industry experience in developing and/or applying modern simulation methods (e.g., FEP/TI) in a drug discovery context. 3. Strong programming and scripting skills, ideally in Python, with an interest in developing robust, scalable workflows.
