We are currently looking for a Qualified Person to join a leading pharmaceutical contract development and manufacturing organisation based in the South East of the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced QP professional to make a direct impact on bringing complex, life-changing medicines to market within a collaborative and supportive environment.
As a key member of the quality team, you will ensure the compliant certification and release of finished pharmaceutical products, helping to uphold the highest industry standards and contribute to innovative healthcare solutions.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as the Qualified Person to certify and release finished medicinal products, ensuring compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Quality on significant quality issues and maintain shared responsibility for batch certification.
- Review and approve non-conformance reports (NCRs & LIRs) to support continuous improvement.
- Provide GMP advice and guidance across various departments within the business.
- Mentor quality colleagues and support the development of Trainee QPs.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- A Degree or higher level in a relevant field (e.g., Pharmaceutical Chemistry / Quality Assurance / Quality Management).
- Proven experience as a Qualified Person within a licensed pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, preferably with experience in oral solid dosage forms and highly potent drugs.
- Extensive knowledge of GMP regulations and certification processes for medicinal products.
