We are currently looking for a MSAT Drug Product Owner Lead to join a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing site. This exciting opportunity is based at a key secondary manufacturing facility responsible for producing some of the company's blockbuster biological and sterile products, contributing significantly to revenue. As the MSAT Drug Product Owner Lead, you will oversee a talented team of Product Owners, providing strategic guidance across the product lifecycle and ensuring adherence to quality standards. You will champion process improvements, support new product introductions, and lead initiatives to optimise manufacturing performance while fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Lead and develop a high‐performing team of Product Owners, promoting collaboration, coaching, and professional growth.
- Provide strategic oversight of product lifecycle management, ensuring quality and effective knowledge transfer in line with the Product Control Strategy.
- Offer technical support for manufacturing operations, resolving issues, reducing waste, and maintaining operational efficiency.
- Oversee new product introductions and planned change activities, ensuring smooth transitions from development to production.
- Champion product and process improvements focused on critical quality attributes, cost efficiency, and performance standards.
- A Degree or higher level in a scientific or engineering discipline.
- Proven capability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams within a technical biopharmaceutical production environment.
- Extensive knowledge of external regulatory requirements (MHRA, EMA, FDA) and internal quality standards.
- Experience in product lifecycle management, process validation, and technical transfer.
