Hypepatrol is a London-based platform exploring the ideas, people, and movements shaping culture.
We’re seeking freelance photographers to help define the visual identity of the platform. We value strong composition, natural light mastery, and imagery that feels considered, authentic, and culturally aware.
Assignment Scope
This is a project-based role for photographers who can work across editorial shoots, environmental portraits, and dynamic event documentation.
Studio or location-based photography supporting Hypepatrol features.
Intimate, character-led portraits of creatives and cultural figures.
Event Coverage
Atmospheric documentation of spaces and cultural moments.
Social Assets
High-quality imagery and detail shots optimized for social channels.
Requirements
- Capture high-end imagery with a distinct and consistent visual style.
- Manage end-to-end workflow from shooting to selects and basic retouching.
- Work effectively with both natural and artificial lighting.
- Understand the requirements of an editorial brief and delivery timelines.
London Access: Our shoots are primarily grounded in London. You should have reliable access to the city for commissioned work.
Structure & Pay
Rates: Agreed upfront for each commission based on scope and post-production. Structure: Project-by-project basis with no exclusivity. Deliverables: Typically includes high-res processed images and social-ready crops. Payment: Made per commission following final delivery and sign-off.
