Hypepatrol is a London-based platform exploring the ideas, people, and movements shaping culture.
We’re seeking filmmakers to capture behind-the-scenes process, editorial motion, and documentary-style visual storytelling. We value strong visual instinct, natural pacing, and a clear editorial point of view.
Assignment Scope
This is a project-based role for filmmakers who can shoot in a way that feels natural, composed, and unobtrusive across our core pillars.
BTS Documentation
Natural, unobtrusive coverage of the process behind editorials and creative productions.
Editorial Motion
Short-form moving image content supporting Hypepatrol features and campaigns.
Documentary Capture
Atmospheric coverage of people and cultural moments with a strong sense of rhythm.
Social Assets
Video assets, vertical edits, and short-form cutdowns optimized for social channels.
Requirements
- Capture process, atmosphere, and detail with a strong editorial eye.
- Handle end-to-end workflow from capture to edit and grading, where relevant.
- Shoot in a way that feels natural, composed, and unobtrusive.
- Understand pacing, atmosphere, and visual storytelling requirements.
Location Requirement
Our shoots are primarily grounded in London. You should have reliable access to the city for commissioned work.
Structure & Pay
Rates: Agreed upfront for each commission based on scope and edit requirements. Structure: Project-by-project basis with no exclusivity. Deliverables: May include raw footage, edited video, or selected social-ready cutdowns. Payment: Made per commission following final delivery and sign-off.
