Responsibilities
- Research and write compelling news articles on contemporary culture.
- Curate, write and schedule engaging social media posts across Hypebeast’s regional platforms.
- Identify emerging tastemakers in the industry.
- Attend events on behalf of Hypebeast to capture and edit content that fits the visual style.
- Keep on top of social media trends and audience engagement to optimize content.
- Collaborate with the editorial, video and social teams to align content with ongoing stories and features.
- Support the team in brainstorming and pitching new content ideas.
- Participate in editorial meetings and contribute to the overall content strategy.
- Support operations and project management by maintaining project trackers and assisting with team communications.
Requirements
- Strong interest in contemporary culture.
- Excellent writing skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Basic social-first image and video editing experience.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content strategies.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong research skills and the ability to identify credible sources.
- Prior experience in writing or social media management is a plus but not required.
