This position is both creative and rigorous by nature. You need to think outside the box. We expect the candidate to be proactive and have a \”get it done\” spirit. To be successful, you will have solid problem-solving skills and deep technical knowledge of cable design..Responsibilities Act as the lead technical expert on power and fiber optic cable designValidate engineering calculations and ensure compliance with IEC, BS, UL, and other standardsProvide consulting expertise to our clients and product teamDefine logic and parameters for intelligent cable configurationsCollaborate with developers and engineers on new feature developmentSupport technical documentation, training, and product demos

Must Have Master\’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field15+ years of experience in power and/or fiber optic cable designSolid understanding of cable construction, ampacity, derating, and materialsFamiliarity andhand on experience with international cable design standardsPerfect written and spoken EnglishHighly creative, autonomous, and detail-oriented
