HYNEDALE LIMITED represents Sleek, a hair fashion brand established in 1989, supplying wigs, hair extensions, ponytails, and beauty products to retailers, wholesalers, and distributors across the UK and international markets.
We are looking for a proactive and commercially driven Sales Executive to help grow our customer base, strengthen existing relationships, and drive sales performance across multiple channels.
This is a hands-on role combining business development, account management, customer support, and sales operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesNew Business Development- Identify and approach new retailers, wholesalers, distributors, and trade customers.
- Generate new sales opportunities through phone calls, customer visits, networking, referrals, and industry events.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Convert leads into long-term customers.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
- Conduct regular customer visits and business reviews.
- Identify opportunities to increase sales and product penetration.
- Support customers with product recommendations, promotions, and new launches.
- Follow customer orders from enquiry through to delivery.
- Work closely with customer service and operations teams to resolve customer issues.
- Ensure customer enquiries, complaints, and requests are handled promptly and professionally.
- Monitor customer activity, repeat purchases, and account performance.
- Support the management of customer credit limits and outstanding balances.
- Follow up overdue payments when required.
- Escalate potential account risks to management.
- Gather competitor information, customer feedback, and market trends.
- Provide regular insights on customer needs, product opportunities, and industry developments.
- Support product launches and promotional activities.
- Represent the company at trade shows, customer events, and industry exhibitions.
- Assist with customer presentations and product demonstrations.
- Previous experience in sales, account management, customer service, or business development.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Confident speaking with customers both face-to-face and over the phone.
- Results-driven with a proactive approach to generating sales.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel for customer visits.
- Experience within hair, beauty, cosmetics, FMCG, wholesale, retail, or related industries.
- Experience working with B2B customers.
- Experience managing customer accounts and sales targets.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and Excel.
