This position will be based between Hyndburn Leisure Centre & Cath Thom Leisure Centre on a 6-week rota.

Working Hours: Full Time hours - 36 hours per week

We operate eight dynamic venues across the borough, offering a wide range of services—and now we are excited to announce the opening of a brand‑new leisure facility featuring a Swimming Pool, Gym, Aerobics & Dance Studio, and Café.

The Role

As a Leisure Attendant, you’ll be an essential part of the daily operations team, ensuring our customers have a safe, clean, and welcoming experience. You'll help to maintain the facility to the highest standards, assist in pool supervision, and provide excellent support and service to our visitors. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the leisure and fitness industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise poolside areas, ensuring the safety of all users (must hold a valid NPLQ or be willing to obtain it)
  • Set up and take down equipment for various activities and events
  • Assist customers with enquiries in a friendly and helpful manner
  • Carry out routine cleaning and maintenance to keep the facilities safe and hygienic
  • Support the Duty Manager and team in day-to-day operations
  • Promote a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere for all facility users

About You

We’re looking for a proactive, reliable, and customer-focused Leisure Attendant with experience in a similar environment. You’ll have strong communication skills, a friendly and approachable attitude, and a commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming space for all visitors. A team player, you’ll support daily operations and help deliver a great experience for every guest.
