As Senior Planning Policy Officer, you will play a key role in shaping Hyndburn’s development plan, ensuring the delivery of high‑quality, sustainable development across the Borough. You will support the progression of the Local Plan 2040 through its final stages towards adoption in 2026, following its submission for examination in early 2025 and the completion of public hearing sessions. After its adoption you will also contribute to the preparation of a new Local Plan under the reformed plan‑making system, ensuring the Borough continues to respond effectively to future development needs.
