Hyndburn Council is seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual to join the finance team. The post holder will work with the Head of Finance to deliver an effective and professional finance service across the Council. The role requires excellent financial technical accounting knowledge, together with strong communication and financial management skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the budgets and oversee regular financial monitoring processes.
- Contribute to the closure of accounts and liaise with auditors.
- Support various ad hoc financial activities as required.
- Provide financial analysis and input for reporting to Management Team, Service Managers and Members.
Qualifications
- Qualified CCAB or CIMA accountant, or working towards qualification, with significant relevant experience.
- Strong financial analysis skills and experience in reporting to multiple stakeholders.
