The Digital Editor has oversight of the Church Times website and all other digital content. The job entails a combination of developing and delivering digital strategy; project management of digital projects; creating digital-only content; managing the app; developing digital newsletters and other promotional tools; overseeing social media, including the monitoring of comments and managing reputational risks; and supervising the digital tasks assigned to the Multimedia Reporter.
Reports to Editor
Hours: 24-30 hours pw, by agreement, with some flexibility. A degree of hybrid working is possible.
This is a maternity cover post, for six to nine months, beginning in August, with the possibility of extension after that.
