What will your role look like? As a developer, you will collaborate with stakeholders on various software challenges, contribute to improving our tech-stack, and work with cutting-edge technology. We seek a capable developer to design, build, deliver, and operate world-class digital solutions for the Pensions market. Key tasks include: Working with high-performing, multi-disciplinary teams within a DevOps culture that promotes autonomy and engineering excellence using the latest technologies. Driving innovation and enhancing frameworks, integrations, and automations. Collaborating with developers, architects, quality analysts, and data scientists to deliver sustainable, valuable solutions. Handling complex challenges at scale in novel market areas. Contributing to the build, test, and scaling of applications and services. Technologies and frameworks you may have experience with: Object-oriented development in C# .NET Microsoft stack and Azure Cloud technologies, including ASP.NET, Web Services, Microservices, CQRS, APIs, SQL Server, testing frameworks, Git, Azure DevOps Messaging patterns with brokers like Azure Service Bus or RabbitMQ RESTful APIs, DevOps practices, automation, behaviour-driven testing, relational and NoSQL databases Front-end frameworks, especially Angular, RxJs, Jest, Angular Material Personal qualities: Self-motivated with a desire to learn and share knowledge Focused on continuous improvement Effective communicator and team player Able to build strong professional relationships Capable of articulating technical concepts to non-technical audiences Confident across the software development lifecycle You may also develop skills in R language, though it is not essential. Note: Candidates will be expected to complete a Clean Code Challenge as part of the recruitment process.
