The Sales Solution Engineer is responsible for providing technical and/or industry expertise to the sales team and customers in the pre-sales process.
What you will be doing:
- Act as the technical lead for complex customer engagements, applying extensive knowledge of solutions and/or vertical.
- Lead customer pre-sales meetings, identify technical requirements, and formulate solution strategy.
- Create a demonstration of the solution strategy, applying solutions knowledge, experience and best practice knowledge.
- Present demonstration of proposed solution to key customer stakeholders for validation and buy-in.
- Coordinate meeting with global services to transition key information; remain actively involved in process to ensure seamless transfer of customer.
- Compose internal documentation that fully reflects all activity related to the solution strategy.
- Provide technical responses for request for proposals (RFPs).
- Take proactive measures to identify and improve internal efficiencies and grow knowledge of the team; remain current on best practices and market trends.
- Present at trade shows, conferences and events.
- Work with development in support of solution enhancements.
- Provide guidance to other team members.
