The Product Manager will manage the direction and market delivery of existing products and will identify new products, product features, product strategy, and relevant services.
What you will be doing
- Drive product innovation to establish and maintain the platform product roadmap and program-level features backlog; prioritise appropriate features to maximise resource utilisation and meet customer needs.
- Use industry data to quantify market opportunities and product profitability; participate in customer sessions and primary analyst research to develop product vision and roadmap.
- Manage work prioritisation across the program aligned with current and future priorities and business plans.
- Lead the product lifecycle management of platform capabilities and features; use data to build business cases and inform investment decisions.
- Determine effective delivery methods for products and capabilities; validate and present buy, build, and partner options.
- Collaborate with technical teams to define business features and requirements; ensure backlog management and development progress adhere to timelines.
- Communicate the concept of a minimally viable product to software architecture leads for execution.
- Coordinate release readiness activities across departments to ensure successful launches.
- Support product launch through training, evangelisation, and assisting in sales and marketing efforts.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with customers and advisory groups; promote product adoption.
- Mentor, coach, and train team members.
