About the Role

The AVP, International Partner Management (EMEA & APAC) is responsible for defining and executing the partner management strategy, driving business impact, and accelerating growth across the EMEA and APAC regions. This position establishes the vision, operating model, and governance framework for how Hyland engages with, develops, and scales its international partner ecosystem to drive revenue growth, customer success, and market expansion.

This leader oversees regional partner leadership teams and strategic partner initiatives across EMEA and APAC — ensuring consistent execution, strong partner performance, and alignment with the company's long-term strategic objectives. The ideal candidate is a seasoned international partner leader who excels at scaling partner-led growth through co-sell and resell motions while building enduring strategic relationships across technology, solution, and channel ecosystems.

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do.

  • Define and execute the international partner management strategy across EMEA and APAC — leading regional partner management organizations, overseeing regional leaders, and developing scalable frameworks for partner engagement, joint business planning, governance, and performance management.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with strategic partners including global and regional systems integrators, technology partners, cloud providers, distributors, and value-added resellers — driving joint go-to-market strategies to accelerate pipeline generation, bookings, and customer adoption.
  • Drive partner-led revenue growth through both co-sell and resell motions — establishing regional growth plans and partner investment strategies aligned to corporate priorities, market opportunities, and emerging AI, automation, and content management solutions.
  • Drive alignment across Sales, Marketing, Product, Customer Success, Services, and Operations — partnering closely with regional sales leadership to grow partner-influenced and partner-sourced revenue while ensuring a consistent, high-quality partner experience across all regions.
  • Provide leadership and direction to regional partner management leaders and teams across EMEA and APAC — developing future leaders, building a strong leadership bench, and overseeing all aspects of talent management including hiring, coaching, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on partner ecosystem investments, market opportunities, and growth initiatives — representing Hyland at industry events, partner conferences, and executive briefings while maintaining sharp awareness of competitive dynamics, AI innovation, and ecosystem trends.

Role Essentials

You'll be set up for success if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with 15+ years in enterprise software, technology, ECM, AI, content services, or related industries — and 10+ years of leadership experience managing managers and geographically dispersed teams.
  • Proven experience leading international partner organizations across EMEA and APAC, with a demonstrated track record of developing and scaling partner ecosystems that drive measurable revenue growth.
  • Deep experience with both co-sell and resell partner motions, with a strong understanding of enterprise software sales, channel strategies, and indirect go-to-market models.
  • Experience managing executive-level relationships with strategic partners, systems integrators, cloud providers, and channel organizations — with demonstrated fiscal responsibility and accountability in managing budgets and partner investments.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate strategy into operational execution and a proven ability to build and scale organizations through periods of rapid growth and transformation.

What We'd Like to See

Bonus points if you bring:

  • Experience within Enterprise Content Management (ECM), Content Services, Intelligent Automation, Artificial Intelligence, Information Management, or related enterprise technology markets.
  • Hands-on experience working with hyperscaler ecosystems such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, or other strategic technology alliances.
  • Experience leading partner organizations within SaaS, cloud, or recurring revenue business models.
  • Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • A track record of supporting global systems integrators and managing complex strategic alliance programs at scale across multiple geographies.
