This position offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates and early-career engineers to gain hands-on experience in aerospace quality, manufacturing, and quality management within a fast-growing launch vehicle company. Successful candidates will receive structured training and the opportunity to develop into broader Quality Engineering responsibilities.

  • Perform incoming, in-process and final inspections to ensure product quality and conformity.
  • Support manufacturing quality activities, including product traceability and quality documentation.
  • Manage monitoring and measuring equipment, including calibration and maintenance of inspection records.
  • Identify and report nonconformities and support corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Production and Procurement to promote product quality and process compliance.
  • Maintain a hands-on presence within the warehouse and manufacturing environment while supporting the Quality Management System.

Basic Qualification

  • Industrial experience is not required. Training and mentoring will be provided. Recent graduates and students are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in one or more of the following is advantageous:
    • Manufacturing or workshop activities.
    • Mechanical assembly or inspection.
    • Metrology or measurement equipment.
    • Technical drawings and engineering documentation.
    • Laboratory or university engineering projects.
    • Basic understanding of quality management principles.

Desired Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (or currently completing) in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Hands-on mindset with an interest in manufacturing, inspection and quality engineering.
  • Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to work.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Good German and English language skills.
  • Eligibility to work in Germany or UK.

This role will be based in Glasgow, Scotland and occasionally there may be requirements to travel to our facilities in Neuenstadt am Kocher, Germany or our test and launch facilities in Shetland.
