Key Responsibilities
- Design and development of HITs Powerpack: Turbopump, bi-propellant gas generator and other supporting hardware
- Design, development and qualification of flight version hardware
- Manage supply chains of complex hardware both internal and external
- Help qualify and integrate the Powerpack into our hybrid rocket engine and our launch vehicle
- Prepare and perform test campaigns for Powerpack components and analyze the data
Basic Qualification
- M.Sc. in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or similar
- >2 years of experience in a hands-on role, working on the mechanical design and development of advanced machinery and components for high performance / high reliability environment
- Fluent oral and written English
Desired Experience
- Experience in CAD systems (NX preferred)
- Strong knowledge of GD&T
- Hands-on experience in turbomachinery design validation
- Background in propulsion systems
- Practical experience with cryogenic, high-pressure, and high-temperature systems
- Expertise in rotating equipment (motors, pumps, compressors, bearings, seals)
- Experience with simulation tools (CFD, FEA, Python, MATLAB)

Location
Our location in Neuenstadt in the region of Heilbronn offers an ideal combination of rural charm and urban quality of life. Located in the heart of Baden-Württemberg, the region is characterized by its excellent traffic connections and diverse opportunities for leisure activities.
This role will be based in Glasgow, Scotland and at occasionally there may be requirements to travel to our facilities in Neuenstadt am Kocher, Germany or our test and launch facilities in Shetland.
