We are seeking experienced and reliable Construction Trade Operatives to join our growing team, delivering high-quality repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment works within occupied and void social housing properties across the West Midlands. We are looking for candidates who have strong experience in at least one of the following trades:
- Carpentry
- Bathroom Fitting
- Kitchen Fitting
- Plastering
- Wall & Floor Tiling

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance works in social housing properties.
- Complete kitchen and bathroom installations where applicable.
- Perform carpentry, plastering, tiling, or other trade-specific works to a high standard.
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with current regulations.
- Maintain a clean and tidy working environment.
- Communicate professionally with tenants, colleagues, and supervisors.
- Accurately complete job sheets and associated paperwork using handheld devices where required.
- Identify and report any additional repair requirements.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in at least one of the following trades: Carpentry, Bathroom Fitting, Kitchen Fitting, Plastering, Wall & Floor Tiling.
- Experience working within social housing, property maintenance, or domestic refurbishment.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
Desirable
- Multi-trade experience.
- Experience working in occupied properties.
- Relevant NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in a recognised trade.
- CSCS Card (preferred).
- Asbestos Awareness certification.
- DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
