About Hygenius

Hygenius is a specialist provider of infection-control-focused furniture and cabinetry for the NHS and UK public sector. We have spent over 50 years helping healthcare providers create safer, cleaner, and more efficient clinical environments. Our products are designed with hygiene, durability, and practicality at their core, supporting infection prevention and improving patient and staff environments across the UK.

Today, our business is driven by three simple values: Honesty. Hustle. Heart.

We're looking for a proactive focused Project Consultant to join our growing Client Relations & Business Development team.

The Role

This is a pivotal internal sales role responsible for helping turn opportunities into orders. Working alongside our Client Relations Managers, you'll play a key role in progressing project opportunities, coordinating quotations, maintaining CRM excellence, and ensuring clients receive a first-class experience throughout the sales journey. You'll act as the vital link between our sales team and estimating department, ensuring quotations are accurate, competitive, and delivered on time. You'll also ensure actions from client meetings, calls, and project discussions are captured within Salesforce and followed through to completion. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys sales, organisation, relationship management, and keeping multiple projects moving forward simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Client Relations Managers in progressing and closing project opportunities.
  • Manage and maintain project pipelines within Salesforce.
  • Ensure all client meetings, calls, actions, and opportunities are accurately recorded and updated.
  • Coordinate with the Estimating Team to ensure quotations are delivered accurately and within agreed timescales.
  • Follow up quotations, proposals, and project opportunities to maximise conversion.
  • Book appointments and support Client Relations Managers with sales activities and client engagement.
  • Liaise with clients to gather information, answer queries, and maintain strong professional relationships.
  • Monitor project opportunities and proactively identify risks, delays, or actions required.
  • Coordinate handovers between sales, estimating, and operational teams.
  • Support reporting, pipeline reviews, and sales performance tracking.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across sales and project processes.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in internal sales, sales support, project coordination, business development, or a similar commercial role.
  • Strong organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel.
  • A proactive attitude with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Experience within construction, fit-out, healthcare, or project-based environments would be advantageous.

What Success Looks Like

  • Opportunities are progressed efficiently through the sales pipeline.
  • Quotations are accurate and delivered on time.
  • CRM data is current, reliable, and actionable.
  • Client Relations Managers are fully supported and able to focus on building relationships and winning business.
  • Strong conversion rates and growing order intake.
  • Excellent collaboration between sales, estimating, and delivery teams.

Why Join Hygenius?

  • Competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience.
  • Growing, ambitious business with significant opportunities for progression.
  • Supportive and collaborative team culture.
  • The opportunity to help improve healthcare environments across the UK.

If you're organised, and motivated by helping teams win business, we'd love to hear from you. Apply today and help us deliver safer healthcare environments through Honesty, Hustle and Heart.
