A large global law firm is looking for a highly experienced legal Document Production Specialist to join their document production team on the weekends working on a fully remote basis. This role will be working from home and has flexibility on the working days and hours but must include the weekends. The position is initially going to be a 12-month fixed-term contract; however, this does have a very high chance of being made permanent after the initial 12-month period.
Core responsibilities within this new role will be to ensure the continued provision of a high-quality document production service utilising all in-house Word templates on the weekend shift on a fully remote basis, along with the following:
- Carry out requests within the departmental remit – amends, conversions, working with PDFs, digital dictation, repairing documents, organisation charts, and presentations
- Using a cloud-based file management system to check jobs in and out
- Quality controlling of work before return to the client
Technical skills and experience required:
- Highly skilled in templates and house styles.
- Previous experience in a Legal Document Production role
- Advanced MS Office skills and able to work across other software packages for example, Visio, Adobe Acrobat
- Eye for detail and accuracy in the work produced
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Must be able to communicate job specifications and be confident in dealing with multiple users
- Must be a team player but also have the ability and confidence to work alone when required
