You'll become part of a highly professional and collaborative in-house Document Production team, providing an essential specialist service to lawyers and business services teams across the firm. This is a role where your expertise really matters. You'll be trusted to produce, format and manage complex, high-quality legal documentation to the exacting standards expected within a leading international law firm.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Producing and managing complex legal documents, ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout transactions
- Working closely with legal and client teams to coordinate document amendments and updates
- Audio typing and producing correspondence, emails, letters and memoranda
- Reviewing requests and assessing project requirements before allocating work appropriately within the team
- Formatting and amending complex documents using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Converting and comparing Word and PDF documents
- Creating and amending presentations, spreadsheets, diagrams and other business-critical documents
You'll be an experienced and highly accurate document production professional with a background in legal or financial services. You'll ideally have:
- Advanced document production and typing skills
- Excellent spelling, grammar and proofreading ability
- Advanced Microsoft Word skills, including styles, cross-referencing, tracked changes and tables of contents
- Intermediate PowerPoint and Excel skills
- Strong knowledge of PDF conversion and document comparison software
- Previous experience working within a law firm or financial services environment – essential
- A professional, reliable and proactive approach, with genuine pride in the quality of your work
