Hybrid working of two days in the London office, and three days from home.

Full time permanent £48,000. Exceptional opportunity within a medium sized highly prestigious law firm. This well regarded and top tier firm are looking for an experienced, upbeat, and highly skilled legal document production specialist who has a wealth of experience in a full legal document production role working in a law firm.

This is a full-time, permanent document production position working on the daytime shift of 9:30am – 5:30pm. The starting salary will be £48,000 alongside a host of very generous benefits. This is a hybrid position working two days from the firm's London office in the City, and three days from home.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced document production expert to take on an interesting and diverse document production role working within a very friendly, family feel team. The firm offer a wealth of perks, and benefits within the role, and the starting salary would be £48,000. The team are a friendly group of professionals who take a collaborative approach towards fellow support staff.

The main duties and responsibilities are as follows:

  • Managing production of documents (produced in-house and externally), coordinating changes made to those documents by the legal team and client teams including taking responsibility for the consistency of those documents throughout the transaction.
  • Audio typing, producing documents/letters/e-mails and memos as necessary.
  • Producing high-quality legal documentation using templates or tailored as per requirements (incl. MS Word, PPT, Excel and Adobe PDF).
  • Document health checks/cleaning and converting.
  • Graphics/Charts.
  • Document conversions.
  • Offering Circulars, Legal Review Reports, Client Briefings, Technical Bulletins, Mail-Merge, eMailers.
  • Cross-reference checking.
  • Revisions and amendments.
  • Comparisons/blacklining.
  • Copy typing.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Advanced document production skills to include accurate typing, spelling, grammar and proofreading.
  • Previous experience working within a legal firm or financial services company is essential.
  • Advanced Word skills: such as styles, cross-referencing, tracked changes, table of contents, etc.
  • Intermediate knowledge of PowerPoint: embedding files, animations, transitions, etc.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel: formula, pivot tables, charts, conditional formatting, etc.
  • Advanced knowledge of PDF conversion and comparison software.
