We’re hiring an experienced Senior Technical Advisor to support complex defence and communications projects within a fast‑paced SME environment. This role is ideal for a technically strong engineer with excellent technical writing skills and experience producing customer‑facing technical documentation, bids, and compliance artefacts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce technical proposals, requirement responses & compliance matrices
  • Work across engineering, delivery & business development teams
  • Manage multiple technical workstreams simultaneously

Qualifications

  • Degree‑qualified engineering/technical background
  • Strong technical authoring experience (personally written proposals, reports, system descriptions, compliance documentation, etc.)
  • Experience in defence, EMC, safety, or regulated technical environments
  • Comfortable working in an SME environment with fast context switching and ambiguity
  • Able to attend Redhill office routinely (3–4 days/week)
  • RF, EW/SIGINT, embedded systems, UAS, or defence systems experience
  • UK Engineering Council registration
