We’re working with a well-established accountancy practice specialising in the music, entertainment and creative industries, who are looking for a Semi-Senior Accountant to join their growing team. This is a varied role working closely with a portfolio of creative clients, supporting with accounts preparation, VAT and general accounting work.
The Role
- Preparing year-end accounts for a range of clients
- Assisting with management accounts and bookkeeping
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Dealing with client queries and acting as a key point of contact
- Supporting with tax and general accounting matters
- Working closely with the wider team to deliver a high level of client service
- Building strong relationships with clients across the music and creative industries
About You
- 2+ years' experience within an accountancy practice
- Experience preparing accounts and working with clients
- Good knowledge of VAT and general accounting principles
- AAT qualified or studying towards ACA/ACCA is desirable
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
- Confident communicator who enjoys working directly with clients
- Experience within music, entertainment or creative industries would be a bonus
