Our client is looking for a Communications Rep to take ownership of their communications and help grow their community, membership and platform. This is a hands-on role for someone who is genuinely tapped into culture, media, events and communities and understands how to build interest without relying on traditional marketing.
The Role
- Social media – managing content, DMs and community engagement
- Newsletter – developing and managing regular communications to the audience
- Press & PR – managing press enquiries and building relationships with relevant media
- Website & platform – supporting content, engagement and audience growth
- Community & membership – helping develop and grow the community
- Brand communications – ensuring the brand voice remains consistent, authentic and distinctive
- Audience growth – identifying creative ways to increase engagement, membership and awareness
We’re looking for someone who:
- Understands what makes communities and brands feel genuinely exclusive
- Has experience across communications, media, festivals, events, hospitality or culture
- Understands how to create engagement without making a brand feel overly commercial or corporate
- Has strong written and verbal communication skills
- Is confident managing social media, newsletters and digital platforms
- Is comfortable dealing with press enquiries and external contacts
- Has a natural understanding of community building and membership
- Is proactive, creative and comfortable working independently
- Understands the importance of tone, authenticity and discretion
- Can spot opportunities and turn ideas into action
Experience with festivals, media, culture or exclusive/community-led brands such as Soho House would be particularly relevant.
