Looking for immediate availability as this is an interim position with a strong view to go perm! Ideal for a Big 4-trained accountant with 4+ years post-qualification experience. Reporting to the CFO, the Financial Reporting Manager will lead the Group’s financial reporting, tax, and working capital processes, ensuring accuracy and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead year-end audits and manage auditors.
- Prepare monthly group consolidation and management accounts; manage finance reporting across the Group.
- Prepare statutory accounts for non-consolidated companies and group consolidated accounts (including IFRS16).
- Review balance sheets, cash flow, and banking covenants; support treasury management.
- Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and drive process improvements.
- Support VAT returns and participate in projects such as M&A or transfer pricing.
Skills & Experience:
- ACA-qualified accountant from a top-tier firm, with strong technical knowledge and attention to detail.
- Minimum 4 years post-qualified experience.
- Strong communicator, organised, and flexible under changing deadlines.
- Ownership mentality with initiative and teamwork.
