About the Role

A growing multi-utilities contractor is seeking a skilled Field Technician to join their Water Department supporting projects across Warrington and surrounding areas. This is a hands-on, field-based role ideal for someone with direct experience working on live water networks and engaging with customers in a professional and service-oriented manner.

You’ll play a vital role in the maintenance and performance of the water infrastructure, working closely with operational teams and end-users to ensure quality, reliability, and safety at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out maintenance activities on water mains and valves, ensuring operational integrity
Perform customer sampling and quality checks in line with water safety regulations
Conduct leakage detection and repair support on the clean water network
Carry out meter reading duties accurately and efficiently
Liaise with customers to address service issues, access needs, and routine works
Install, test, and commission clean water services where required
Complete site risk assessments and maintain compliance with H&S procedures
Maintain clear and accurate documentation, including sampling logs and work reports
